Description
Panadol ActiFast is a fast-acting formulation of paracetamol designed for quick relief from pain and fever .The "ActiFast" formulation is designed for quicker absorption and faster onset of pain relief compared to standard paracetamol tablets. This is achieved through the inclusion of sodium bicarbonate, which enhances the absorption rate of paracetamol in the gastrointestinal tract.
Panadol ActiFast tablets are used for:
- Relief of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, migraines, toothache, muscle pain, and menstrual pain.
- Reduction of fever and relief of symptoms of cold and flu.
Dosage and Administration
- Adults and Children over 12 years: Typically, 1-2 tablets (500-1000 mg) every 4-6 hours as needed, not exceeding 8 tablets (4000 mg) in 24 hours.
